                                                                I dont drink tea and coffee from my childhood days.Nowadays i tried green tea is a perfect refreshing drink for me.Its bored in normal green tea.I just thought to add some flavour in it.when i floating in internet,i found green tea with lemon gelatin.I like strawberry flavour,why not to add this flavour to my green tea.huh...I tried and it came out well.




What you need

1 teaspoon strawberry Veg gelatin
2 teaspoon Green tea leaves or green tea bag
1 cup boiling water
1 cup cold water
1 teaspoon Low calorie sugar substitute.

How to proceed

Boil 1 cup water and green leaves for 5 minutes.
Mix tea with strawbery jello powder until dissolved and strain it.
Add sugar substitute and Stir in 1 cup of cold water.Pour into cup.
Chill for 1 hour.
Enjoy.......

Pepper Brinjal fry is a quick and easy side dish.Try it yourself  and enjoy with hot rice.










What you need

1/2 kg brinjal
2 Medium sized onion 
4 Garlic pads
4 teaspoon fresh pepper powder
1 teaspoon chilli powder
2 teaspoon mustard seeds
2 teaspoon urad dal
Curry leaves
Salt

How to proceed

Heat the pan,Fry the mustard seeds and urad dal till it
crackles.
Now add curry leaves and garlic.
Saute the onions till translucent.




Add brinjal,chilli powder,pepper powder and salt to saute it for 3 minutes.
Add 1/2 cup water to boil the brinjal till it gets smooth.
Now pepper brinjal is ready.
Serve hot with rasam satham or curry.

                                                        I used to take all diary products.when i get excess milk,that time i prepared this milk beda.This sweet is also prepared in festival season in India. I made this beda with lot of sugar so that it melts perfectly in our mouth.;););)




What you need:

500 ml Thick Cow Milk
Sugar 2 Cup
3 Cardamom 
2 teaspoon ghee

How to proceed:

Heat nonstick pan,Add milk and boil it in a low flame.
It will take 10 minutes to boil.
Milk will started to thicken.Use spatula to mix completely.



Make sure that milk is not burn in the bottom of the pan.
Now the milk will look like thick condensed.
Add ghee and cardamom to mix well.Saute this thick mixture for 10minutes.
Now milk beda is ready.

                                            In India,We actually call it"Lapsi kheer" in gujarathi. Lapsi means "broken wheat".This is the traditional recipe in Gujarat(a state in india).I got this recipe from internet and its a healthy Indian dessert too.




What you need:

1 cup Broken wheat
1/2 cup Milk
1/2 cup sugar
5 cashewnuts
5 rasins
1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder
ghee




How to proceed

Add ghee in a pan,saute the broken wheat until
it turns light brown.

Add water to boil the broken wheat until soft.

Now add thick milk and sugar to boil it for 10 minutes.



Now add cardamom powder and fried cashewnuts to mix well.

Again it boil for once and remove from heat.

Serve warm.

                                                           This potato apple cutlet is a quick and easy recipe.i made this cutlet as less spicy.You can feel the crispy potato and the apple sweetness.I want to make this cutlet as light color not the dark one.So that i used green chilli instead of chilli powder.Lets see how the simple way i made this.;):):)





Ingredients

2 Potato(Boiled)
4 Bread slices(Broken into small pieces)
2 Apple(chopped)
1 Green Chilli
1/2 Cup Corainder leaves
Salt to taste
Oil(for shallow fry)





Directions

Leave the skin of the boiled potato and smashed it.
 Add Bread pieces and chopped Apples.




Now add Green Chilli,salt and corainder leaves to mix well.you can add the chilli is upto your taste.Sit this dough for 10 minutes.Now make a round shape.





Heat the tava,Add cutlet,oil to shallow fry it.
Once the color turns light brown,you transfer the cutlet into the plate.
Your cutlet is ready.;);)Serve hot with sauce.

                                                           This is the flavorful chutney those who love mint.Mint is the perfect blood purifier for our body.This chutney is easy to make and a diabetic friendly too.I didn't add coconut in this chutney.I hope this chutney will reach in yours kitchen.


Ingredients

4 Medium sized Tomatoes(chopped)
1 Cup Mint Leaves
2 Green Chillies(chopped)
2 Garlic pads(chopped)
Pinch Ginger(minced)
Salt to taste

For seasoning

2 teaspoon Mustard seeds
2 teaspoon Urad dal







Directions

In a pan,Heat oil and add Tomatoes,Mint leaves,Green Chillies,Garlic and ginger to saute it for 10 minutes.
Saute till the tomatoes get soft and switch off the stove.
Transfer this mixture in  a mixie jar and add salt for your taste.
Grind this mixture into a smooth paste.
Heat Oil in a pan,Add the items listed under "For seasoning" allow it to splutter then add it to chutney.
Serve Hot with Idlis and dosas.

                                                        Tapioca (Maravalli kizhangu or kappa) is a healthy source of carbohydrates and is low in saturated fats.My mom prepared this kappa(tapoica) kootu regularly.I just prepared this halwa in a simple way.Its also an instant halwa too.;);)Hope you like this.



Ingredients

100g Tapioca (maravalli kizhangu,Kappa)
2 teaspoon grated coconut
100g Sugar
Pinch Synthetic Food colour 
5 Cashewnuts
2 teaspoon Cardamom Powder
3 teaspoon Ghee


Directions

Boil the tapioca for 10 minutes and grind in a mixie as  smooth paste.Heat pan ,Add ghee and tapioca.



Now add grated coconut,sugar,cardamom powder and food colour to mix well.Saute it for 5 minutes.when the sugar gets melted and it forms an aroma.Now switch off the stove.



Garnish with cashewnuts.Halwa is ready......

                                                  I prepared spinach twice in a week.Manathakaali keerai is the most wanted spinach in all over the world.It has medicinal benefits like Digestive disorders,Peptic ulcer,colitis etc.I used moong dal in this kootu.Choose ur favorite dal to make this.Enjoy healthy eating!!!!!!!!




Ingredients

1 cup Manathakaali Keerai (chopped)
5 small onions(minced)
100g Moon Dal
2 teaspoon Urad dal
2 teaspoon Mustard seeds
Coriander leaves(for seasoning)
Salt to taste


To Grind

2 teaspoon Coconut (grated)
2 teaspoon Cumin Seeds
4 Garlic pads








Directions

Pressure cook the moong dal for 10 minutes and keep it aside.
Wash and chopped the keerai.Must add the wonder berry too.
Heat pan, oil and onion to saute it for 1 minutes.
Now add keerai and 10 ml of water to boil it for 5 minutes.
Add cooked moong dal and coconut mixture to mix well.
Now seasoning with mustard seeds and Curry leaves.
Add Ghee with this kootu is having perfect taste.
Serve with hot rice.
